Patter is a pet care app for cats and dogs. As you record your pet’s details and everyday care, Patter builds a growing picture of that individual animal — and uses it across health, nutrition, mood, training and reminders.
What is Patter?
Patter is a context-aware pet care app for cats and dogs, available on Android. It covers health, nutrition, mood, training, reminders and an AI assistant in one place — and because all of it works from the same pet profile, what you record in one area informs the guidance you get in another. Patter is not a veterinarian and does not diagnose.
The difference is not the number of features. It is that they are not separate tools sharing an icon: your cat’s allergies affect how a food is assessed, a run of low mood scores becomes part of the health picture, and the AI assistant already knows your pet’s history before you ask it anything.
How does Patter know my pet?
Patter builds its picture of your pet from what you give it. Setup starts from a photo, which is used to work out species and breed — and, when you do not know them, to estimate age, weight and gender. You add the rest of the context that matters: what your pet eats, any known conditions or allergies, their weight, their vaccinations. Every entry after that adds to it.

Health
Guided daily visual checks evaluated with AI, vaccination history and reminders, vet visit records, and notifications when something looks worth your attention.
Nutrition
Calories, macronutrients and micronutrients, water intake, weight history and food-safety assessment — all read against your own pet’s profile.
Mood
A daily score and a short questionnaire build a pattern over time. Mood is not a diary in Patter — it feeds into your pet’s wider health picture.
Training
Tell Patter what you want to work on and it generates a plan built around your pet’s own age, breed and history.
Reminders
Reminders come from what Patter already knows — medication schedules, vaccination timing, your pet’s routine — rather than from a generic checklist.
AI assistant
Ask about your pet and get answers grounded in their actual profile and history. When something warrants a vet, it says so.
Can Patter help me notice when something changes?
Patter helps you notice meaningful changes and potential health concerns earlier by connecting your pet’s daily checks, mood, nutrition, history and care context. Holding those signals together over time is what lets a pattern show up at all — and Patter can suggest what a change might be related to, using what your pet’s record already contains.

Is Patter a veterinarian?
No. Patter is not a veterinarian and does not diagnose. It can tell you that something deserves attention and what it might be connected to; deciding what is actually wrong with an animal takes a vet who can examine them. Patter and your veterinarian explains exactly where that line sits and why the app is built around it.
Does Patter work for my cat or my dog?
Patter supports cats and dogs. Guidance follows the individual animal’s profile — species, breed, age, weight, food, conditions and allergies — rather than applying the same generic advice to every pet.
